1. The buttons should be checked regularly to remove dirt. Due to the small contact gap of the buttons, over years of use or poor sealing, dust or emulsified liquids such as machine oil can enter, leading to reduced insulation or even short circuit incidents. In such cases, insulation and cleaning treatment must be performed, along with appropriate sealing measures.
2. When buttons are used in high-temperature environments, the plastic may deform and age, causing the buttons to loosen and leading to short circuits between the wiring screws. Depending on the situation, a fastening ring can be added during installation to tighten it, or an insulating plastic tube can be added at the wiring screws to prevent loosening.
3. Buttons with indicator lights can cause the plastic lampshade to deform due to the heat generated by the bulb over long periods, making bulb replacement difficult. Therefore, they should not be used in places where power is on for extended periods; if necessary, the bulb voltage can be appropriately reduced to extend its lifespan.
4. If poor contact is detected, the cause should be identified: if the contact surface is damaged, it can be repaired with a fine file; if there is dirt or soot on the contact surface, it should be cleaned with a solvent-dampened cotton cloth; if the contact spring is ineffective, it should be replaced; if the contacts are severely burned, the product should be replaced.
