Selection of button switches

(1) According to different usage scenarios and specific purposes: choose the type of button based on the usage scenario, such as push-button, protective, waterproof, anti-corrosion, etc.; select the appropriate form based on the purpose, such as hand-operated rotary, key-operated, emergency, illuminated, etc. For example, a general button on a console panel can initially be a push-button; if it needs to display the working status, an illuminated button should be used; in very important places, to prevent unauthorized personnel from misoperation, a key-operated button is advisable; in areas with corrosive gases, an anti-corrosion button should be used.
(2) Choose the color of buttons and indicator lights according to the requirements of working status, instructions, and working conditions: use green to indicate 'start' or 'power on', and red to indicate 'stop'. Additionally, the voltage of the indicator lights (bulbs) is available in several types, such as 6.3V, 12V, 24V, etc.
(3) Determine the number of different buttons according to the needs of the control circuit: such as single-button, double-button, triple-button, multi-button, etc. For example, if three types of control are needed: 'forward', 'reverse', and 'stop', three buttons can be used and installed in the same button box; if only 'start' and 'stop' control is needed, then two buttons can be assembled in the same button box.
